Service Description:
|
Wilderness Canoe Program:- summer program offers 5, 8, and 14-day canoe trips in Algonquin Park
- learn canoeing, camping, and wilderness skills, and many essential life skills such as leadership, communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and teamwork
- all canoe trips are delivered in small groups, with a 1:2 staff-to-youth ratio
Outdoors Club:- year-round program offers opportunity to participate in a variety of outdoor recreational activities throughout the Greater Toronto Area
- youth develop life skills, outdoor skills, and meaningful connections with nature and one another
- activities include canoeing down the Humber River and through the waterways of Toronto Island, hiking along the Bruce Trail, ice skating at Evergreen Brick Works, and cross-country skiing at Tommy Thompson Park
